You Can Give and Receive
The only way Women's Resource Center can continue to provide free services such as emergency shelter, counseling and education is with the generosity of donors like you.
Planned Giving - Legacy Gifts
You can benefit from our Planned Giving Program that provides you with an array of planned gift opportunities from Life Income Gifts and Insurance Policies to Wills and Bequests. If you have the desire to make the Women's Resource Center part of your legacy, we can assist you in defining a planned gift package that will meet your needs in the here and now, while ensuring that your desire to continue supporting the Women's Resource Center is honored beyond your lifetime.
There are many ways you can financially help us. You can:
Annual Gifting
A more immediate way to support WRC is to:
- Donate on an annual basis.
- Give consistently throughout the year on a monthly schedule.
- Give immediately by clicking on the secure "Donate Now" button on this page.
- Corporate Matching - If your company offers an Employee Gift Matching program, you can double your contributions to the Women's Resource Center
- Be a Sponsor for one of our special events.

Receive the satisfaction of helping by the gifts of your time, energy or goods. You can:
- Donate goods listed in our Wish List. These are donated items used to assist the agency in supporting its clients and their children. In addition, WRC has need for items to help in the operation and management of the agency.
- Donate clothing, books and household items (excluding furniture) to our Thrift Store.
- Get involved with our many volunteer opportunities. Women's Resource Center has utilized the services of community members in providing services to clients since 1978. Volunteers are recruited from the community-at-large and are targeted to represent a cross-section of the Center's service area. Volunteers range in age from 20 to 70+, include men and women, and represent a variety of backgrounds and professions such as the medical field, business, law, homemaking or education. Many volunteers are also bilingual.
- Take the volunteer training that is critical for all volunteers rendering advice or assistance to victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse The volunteers learn to do so with the knowledge and confidence that their interactions are confidential and protected.
- Become a member of the "Friends of WRC", a dynamic organization that raises funds used to directly benefit the quality of life of the children of domestic violence victims.
- Attend one or all of our special events that we put on during the year.
- Donate auction items for one of our special events.
