What If I Have Problems
with an Attorney?

If you think that your attorney is not doing a good job, you have the right to let him/her know. If a conversation with the attorney is not enough to solve the problem, a strong option is to write a letter to the attorney explaining how you feel. If you are still unhappy, you can fire your attorney, with or without a reason, and if you have given the attorney a retainer then the attorney should return any unused portion to you.
