MAGICAL EVENING OVERVIEW

The Magical Evening is WRC’s longest running fundraiser. It began in 1980 as a wine and cheese tasting at the Grosse family’s estate in Carlsbad. Over the course of 38 years the wine and cheese tasting has grown and it is currently held at the beautiful Agua Hedionda Discovery Center in Carlsbad. Local restaurants and caterers provide the guests with small tastings of their menu favorites paired nicely with local beer, wine, and spirits. Magical Evening is held on the second Friday of September from 6 to 9pm.
Every year the guests are able to hear a client share a story of courage, strength, and healing that would not have been possible without WRC and the support of our community. A silent and live auction provide competitive bidding wars and the paddle auction funds much needed services. The best way to end an evening of giving is on a high note with live music. Join us for a summer night of fun.

ABOUT MAGICAL EVENING
For over 30 years, Magical Evening has been the highlight of fundraising for WRC. Each September around 150 guests from all over Southern California join us in an evening of wine, beer, and local favorites. The Agua Hedionda Lagoon provides a scenic backdrop to a great time of faire, live music, and auction items.
