Minimize Energy Costs and Decrease Your Environmental Impact with SDG&E
The WRC’s work would not be possible without the support of our local community and the networks that strive to make a difference. Today we would like to recognize SDG&E for their patronage in our mission to revive courage and the rebuild lives of those who have been affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
This year, SDG&E has implemented Time-of-Use pricing plans that incentivize users to cut down on energy costs by decreasing their energy use between the hours of 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. PST.
In addition to Time-of-Use pricing plans, SDG&E employs a host of programs that benefit low-income households and those who are looking to minimize their environmental impact by using renewable energy sources. To find out if your family qualifies for free energy-saving appliances or other resources, go to www.sdge.com/ESAP.
Or, if you have been approved for subsidized housing, you may be eligible for SDG&E’s SHARE program. Call their customer support at 1-866-463-0070 to learn more.
If you drive an all-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle, you may qualify for SDG&E’s bill credit. Find out at www.sdge.com/residential/electric-vehicles/electric-vehicle-climate-credit
There are many ways that we all can both save money and reduce our environmental impact. Buying local greens, carpooling to work or school, and utilizing public transportation are all ways that we can each choose more sustainable lives and contribute to making a safer, healthier environment for ourselves and the next generation.
